In Episode 5 of “Aks,” the narrative focuses on Sher Dil and his attempts to make peace with the strange occurrences in the house, while Chirya continues her fascination with tennis and Aibek. Sher Dil becomes more involved in trying to understand the mysterious happenings, particularly the doors that open and close on their own. The house’s long history of unexplained events is revealed through Sher Dil’s discussions with the house staff. Despite reassurances that nothing harmful has ever happened, Sher Dil cannot shake his discomfort. He decides to call for a Quran recitation in the house, hoping it will ward off any negative influences. Although uneasy, Sher Dil continues to stay in the house and tries to protect his family by addressing the supernatural events cautiously.

Meanwhile, Chirya, deeply engrossed in her new world of tennis, tries to practice whenever she can. Her fascination with Aibek grows, and they spend more time together on the tennis court. Aibek notices Chirya’s nervousness and helps her with the basics of tennis, guiding her on how to properly hold the racket and serve. Chirya is determined to improve her skills, driven by her admiration for Aibek and her desire to become a good tennis player.

Their friendship deepens as they share conversations about their dreams and aspirations. Aibek reveals his ambitions to pursue tennis, civil service, and studying at Harvard like his father. Chirya, on the other hand, speaks of her simpler dreams—to become a doctor, travel the world, and build a home for her family. Their contrasting dreams highlight the differences in their lives, but their bond grows stronger through their shared interests.

Chirya also introduces Aibek to her love for chess, a game she has been playing with her grandfather, Khair Din. Aibek, not as skilled in chess, repeatedly loses to Chirya, but this doesn’t diminish their camaraderie. They play chess together often, and Aibek, despite being competitive, begins to admire Chirya’s intelligence and skills. The episode closes with their friendship becoming more solidified through tennis and chess, as well as their budding understanding of each other’s personalities.
